My Day: Present Simple and Present Continuous
හැමදාම කරන දේ (I get up at six) සහ දැන් මේ මොහොතේ කරන දේ (I am reading now).

1Present simple: every day
- I get up at 5.30 every morning.
- We go to school by bus.
- My mother cooks breakfast.
- My brother watches TV in the evening.
He / she / it → add -s (cooks, plays) or -es (watches, goes, does).
Time words: every day, always, usually, often, sometimes, never, on Sundays.
2Negatives and questions
- I don't drink coffee. She doesn't like rice.
- Do you walk to school? Yes, I do.
- Does he play cricket? No, he doesn't.

3Present continuous: now
am / is / are + verb-ing for things happening now.
- I am writing a letter now.
- Look! The baby is sleeping.
- They are playing football at the moment.
- Spelling: make → making, run → running, sit → sitting
4Every day or now?
- I usually walk to school, but today I am going by van.
- My father works in an office. Right now he is having lunch.
"now", "Look!", "at the moment" → -ing. "every day", "usually" → present simple.
